Artificial Intelligence
As one of the subjects of my PhD thesis, I explored the use of AI algorithms on-board CubeSats, and I applied them to solve the problem of failure identification and state estimation
Mission Design
The activites of the CubeSat Team are supervised by the PhD students. In this frame, I did teaching assistant in the course of Space Mission and Systems Design of 2013-2014 and 2015 classes, by developing the project work that was the main subject of the students' efforts and assisting them during their work. 3-STAR CubeSat
Our latest CubeSat is slowly taking shape. I have been involved as student (my MSc thesis was on the ADCS of 3-STAR, you can read it clicking on the image above) and then responsible for coordinating the design of the whole system
