Artificial Intelligence

As one of the subjects of my PhD thesis, I explored the use of AI algorithms on-board CubeSats, and I applied them to solve the problem of failure identification and state estimation

Mission Design

The activites of the CubeSat Team are supervised by the PhD students. In this frame, I did teaching assistant in the course of Space Mission and Systems Design of 2013-2014 and 2015 classes, by developing the project work that was the main subject of the students' efforts and assisting them during their work. Our latest CubeSat is slowly taking shape. I have been involved as student (my MSc thesis was on the ADCS of 3-STAR, you can read it clicking on the image above) and then responsible for coordinating the design of the whole system
